Seasoned developer Ortigas Land unveiled on Thursday a next generation office tower that is poised to help revitalize its landmark estate in San Juan City.
Located at the heart of the 16-hectare Greenhills Center, the 21-story GH Tower offers premium flexible workspaces that meet today’s demand for sustainability, wellness and connectivity—standout features that will allow it to usher in a new phase of commerce for the estate.
‘Shop-live-work-play’ destination
This latest addition—which dovetails with the company’s thrust to create “great places for life”—formed part of Ortigas Land’s massive P60-billion redevelopment plan, which envisions to bring this famed complex at par with other central business districts in the metro.
“With the Greenhills Center currently undergoing redevelopment, we want to revitalize and transfer the community into a complete... shop-live-work-play destination for productive and well rounded individuals. We’re very excited (about this project) as we see (the GH Tower) as an ideal back-to-office location due to the tower’s features,” said Trina Chan, AVP and Head of Office Business Unit of Ortigas Land.
According to Chan, GH Tower can readily cater to the workspace needs of local and multinational corporations, traditional offices, as well as business process outsourcing (BPO) companies with its modern design and flexible floor plan.
Ideal business address
The tower has 15 floors dedicated for office spaces. A hotel-like lobby on the ground floor will welcome guests with a green wall feature, while another lobby on the 6th floor provides a direct connection to the Phase 1 of the Greenhills Mall, thus ensuring convenient access to the retail and dining establishments in the area. The 6th floor lobby will likewise lead to more green and open spaces, where individuals can find an alfresco dining area and a roof deck garden.Chan also pointed out the location of the GH Tower, which makes for an ideal business address given that it’s within a masterplanned estate and near major thoroughfares and other CBDs.
This means that its locators and their employees will get to benefit from the features offered by this estate—from its pedestrian-friendly roads and open spaces, to its proximity to Greenhills Mall, Unimart, restaurants and a chapel. GH Tower is also highly accessible as it is near transport terminals, Edsa and a future MRT-4 station, which will make it easy to go around the metro if you’re coming from this office development.
Primed for sustainability
What will further attract mindful corporations to this latest tower are the different measures in place to ensure the sustainability of the development and the well-being of its occupants.
Targeting a LEED Silver certification from the US Green Building Council, the GH Tower will ensure energy and water efficiency in the building given its rainwater collection system, 100 percent glass ratio (double-glazed) that allows for natural lighting, double low E windows, energy-efficient LED lights, and plumbing fixtures with 20 percent water use reduction. Security and health features such as facial recognition in all access points and thermal checks will help guarantee your safety within the building.
GH Tower, which is also the first office development to rise in Greenhills Center, is currently at 50 percent completion, which will enable Ortigas Land to start turning over spaces for parallel fit outs within the first quarter of 2023, Chan added.
